Community Engagement

On-going · Ephemeral Landscapes. A series of very temporary art installations in Fort Greene Park, using natural materials on the spots where they are found. Some individual installations and some done with community participation organized by the Fort Greene Park Conservancy.

On-going · Opening the Edge. A socially engaged project, working with residents and neighbors of Lillian Wald Houses in the Lower East Side, to redesign, and make usable, a now fenced green space at the edge of the development. Project supported by the Design Trust for Public Space with the cooperation of the New York City Housing Authority.

2004 · Best on the Beach, Fire/EMS House in Far Rockaway, New York, commissioned by the Percent for Art Program of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the NYC Fire Department, and the Department of Design and Construction.

2002 · Almost Home, with Kane Chanh Do; Pleasantville, N.Y. train station, commissioned by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Arts for Transit.
